HOW TO PLAY
Objective: Sail your cargo safely from port to port, slay beasts for bounties, and deliver supplies to strengthen your tribe!
The game revolves around four simple phases of play:
SAIL PHASE
- Navigate your boat through the depths using your boat speed
- Draw Depth cards corresponding to your current location (Shallow, Deep, or Abyss)
- Encounter unique beasts and events as you venture further
BEASTS ATTACK!
- Each beast takes its turn attacking your boat
- Some beasts roll attack dice, others use special abilities or movement
- Defend your cargo and ship from being destroyed!
VIKINGS ATTACK!
- Spend Sweat and Beast Blood to move, repair, attack, or use special abilities
- Each successful strike draws beast blood, earning blood tokens
- Use blood immediately for powerful blood rage actions!
REFOCUS
- Vikings reset their sweat actions and discard spent blood
- Beasts move around the boat and events resolve
- Prepare for the next round of your voyage!
The game ends when you reach your destination port, sink, or lose all cargo. Only successful voyages earn points toward your final score!
